Brussels -> Luxembourg ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡บย

Last Friday I decided that I’ve seen enough of Brussels, I got up super early that morning. Managed to get myself out of my hotel room and headed to Brussels Noord, the train station. I bought a return ticket for 25โ‚ฌ ๐Ÿ˜… (INSANE HOW CHEAP IT IS!) And hopped on the train ๐Ÿš‚

I walked all over the city of Luxembourg, taking in everything and not believing that I spent 3 hours on a train and then ended up in a different country Just like that!

Notre Dame Cathedral is only a 10

minute walk from the train station ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ

                     The dukes “house” ๐Ÿก

                          Place d’Armes

The streets are beautiful and the shops are incredible! Sadly I wasn’t able to shop a lot๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿผ that’s the shitty thing about travelling alone! I couldn’t carry everything! I was walking around with my camera, bag, shopping bag, pastries etc. Exhausted because of the heat and how much I walked ๐Ÿ˜‚

I also stopped by a restaurant since I was starving and the only thing I managed to eat during the train ride was raspberries๐Ÿ˜ซ at the restaurant I got duck breast with potatoes and season vegetables with pepper sauce on the side! ๐Ÿ˜ I don’t remember the name of the restaurant but I’m planing on writing a post about some of the best restaurants I’ve tried! And this one might be included! So stay tuned!

So in conclusion, on Wednesday I started exploring! It all started with a short flight from Aalborg to Copenhagen. Where I then was stuck at the airport because of a delay with Brussels airlines! The delay had me miss the last train in to the city, so I had to take a cab and ended up almost paying 50โ‚ฌ I let the driver know that according to maps on iPhone, meaning the GPS, the hotel was only 14km away. The c*nt kept saying “no no no, you no understand” He kept saying it’s atleast 17-20km away! It would take 20-25 minutes blah blah.. -.- So I got scammed that easily! We ended up arriving 10 minutes after I got into the car ๐Ÿ™ƒ Even though he tried taking longer and more complicated routes & roads  ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Treat yourself ๐Ÿ’–

I’m crazy for beauty products of all kinds! A few days ago I made an order from cocopanda and once it arrived I couldn’t wait to try everything out!! ๐Ÿ˜

I started with a foot mask!

I’ve used similar footmasks in the past. But this is definitely the best one! I had Laust try it too. It really works! And our feet were so soft! No matter what lotion or scrubs you use, a foot mask is always good to use in between. It takes care of everything. I recommend doing a foot mask once a month. ๐Ÿ™‚

I also used patches for eyes and for my nose. The patches for the eyes are amazing! It has vitamins and loads of moisture! Also ordered from cocopanda ๐Ÿ™‚ Helps with fine lines as well as puffiness. Feels really good to pamper oneself like that every now and then.

I recommend them strongly! It’s perfect for when you barely get any sleep ๐Ÿ˜ซ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿผ

I always try to pamper myself as often as possible. Not only because I love it ๐Ÿ˜‚ But because is actually really good for my skin. Especially since it’s getting colder here and dry skin is something I really hate. ๐Ÿ™ˆ

I have a ton of products I’m planing on making posts about ๐Ÿ˜

Sunday ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

This weekend has been l about staying at home, relaxing and spending time with family. After having done all of that, I decided to pamper myself last night with a facemask (from boots) and about 7-8 episodes of the crown ๐Ÿ‘‘ Brilliant series!!! I definitely recommend watching it!!

The top you see me wearing is from Romwe! One of my favourite websites to shop clothes from! They also have an app, and everything is always on sale there๐Ÿ˜ฑ Their sizes are a bit tricky though, most things come in one size, that makes them either too big or too small for some people. But they have measurements for each item! But I’m very lucky, everything fits me perfectly every time I order! I also get my makeup brushes from there๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ and they are really good!!

Now this Sunday I’ve decided to clean up my room on my own for once and not have anyone else do it for me๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ™ˆ and all went well!! I vacuumed, organised my things into boxes etc.

A few weeks ago my father accidentally broke my vanity when we were redoing my room so I now don’t have a place for my makeup except for the windowsill. Which is completely fine tbh, but I’m so annoyed that I can’t find a makeup vanity that I like??? Everything looks the same and it’s all either too big or too small?? I’m honestly considering trying to find where I can get one custom made ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

It’s more organised now than what it used to be ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

If you’d like to see more of my room and how I keep things organised let me now! I can make a post about that later on! I’ve got great tips that can actually make your room look and feel unique!

Arrivederci ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿผ ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡นย

This spontaneous trip to Rome was brilliant!! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

I got to see everything! I did almost everything by foot! Because honestly the best way to really explore is by walking everywhere! You really never know what you can stumble upon! โœŒ๐Ÿผ

On the first day I went and saw the fountain and the coliseum. And ofcourse I tried the famous Italian Gelato๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

The following day I took the train far out to the beach for a swim! I was the only one swimming ๐Ÿ˜‚ Yes Italians don’t care about what the weather actually is, if it’s a month in the  winter then they’ll dress for it! The sun could be shining and it could be 20-35 Celsius! But if it’s in October-March! Then it’s winter ๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜ญ so it was kinda embarrassing to be the only one with a bikini on, but it didn’t stop me! Later on I needed to get back to the station that would take me back to Rome, but the “bus” I’d taken to get to this place think it was Fengene?? Didn’t go anymore, and no one knew when it would come back to pick up anyone๐Ÿ˜‚ So I got a ride with a lovely Italian family! I was terrified that I wouldn’t be able to get home! ๐Ÿ˜‚  But luckily I made it back to the train statio! While on the train I decided that I wanted to see more of Rome! It was still early during the day, so I went ahead and got off right by the Vatican City! I went on a tour with a group of people, saw the museum(s) which used to be the home(s) of past popes! And got learn a lot about the history of everything!

And again most images are on my camera! And I’ve not been able to upload anything just yet!
So I will have a few other posts made about Paris and Rome later on this week!

And honestly I don’t know about next weekend but I’m definitely going to do my best and not go anywhere for once! I’ve already got 2 other trips booked this month so I really need a weekend at home ๐Ÿก ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

I should I shouldn’t ย I should I shouldn’t ….ย

Oh boy there are way too many things I should be doing! First off I should be sleeping??? I packed in such a hurry about 5 minutes ago, because I’ve been postponing everything! And now I’m more stressed than ever! ๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿผ I need to be up in 6 hours! ๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜ญ I hate morning flights! But they’re good because then I’ll get to see more of the city etc and gain an extra day obviously.. I ramble and complain a lot on here! Hopefully I’ll be in a better mood tomorrow/this weekend BECAUSE ROME AWAITS!! ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น

I should I shouldn’t ย I should I shouldn’t ….ย

On the bus ๐ŸšŒย

I thought I’d update real quick before I get home, because I’m not sure if I’ll have enough energy to instagram and make a long enough post about this trip.

So I thought I’d summarise it. The images below are taken with my phone, I won’t be able to access anything I’ve taken with my camera till very late tonight </3

So I met up with my man ๐Ÿ’– and we decided to just grab food and spend the first night at the hotel just us two..

The view from one of the windows. We stayed at Hotel Victoria, on the sixth floor. It was incredibly cozy. Lovely hotel, amazing staff. And a very good area. Everything was open all hours of the day.

The following day, we decided to do some exploring, the weather was awful! But it really didn’t stop us! Although one of my camera lenses is completely ruined now.. but hey it’s worth it!! Paris is worth it ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท

We drank coffee ๐Ÿ˜โค๏ธ and walked about 15km all over town, we also travelled a lot by metro, it’s not as complicated as people think. We both thought it was way easier than Berlin ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

Afterwards we picked up pizza ๐Ÿ• and chicken nuggets and spent a few hours in, napping and eating, before heading out again later.

I’m on my way back to Glasgow (home for now) and I should prioritise getting some work done.. but I’m for certain that I’ll be transferring all the pictures we took to my laptop and spamming instagram and probably the blog over the next couple of days. ๐Ÿ˜…

c’est la vieย

I’ve been quite busy doing coursework and spending time with my dad since he’s here for a few days ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง  We’ve celebrated he’s birthday a week earlier and he’s helped me figure out my next destination! โœˆ๏ธ

I’ve booked my next weekend off to Paris๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท !! I’m so exited! Me and Laust do this all the time, we meet up in different countries and do a lot of exploring! We’ll be staying at a hotel in town ๐Ÿ˜  I CANT WAIT!

I honestly thought that I wouldn’t travel in March other than Copenhagen as always and since that doesn’t count I wouldn’t have much to write about.. but oh boy I couldn’t keep that promise to my dad or myself or Laust ๐Ÿ˜‚

So it’s almost time for me to start packing and maybe order new outfits??๐Ÿ˜

And yes I will most likely do every couple thing there is to do in the city of LOVE with my favourite Laust ๐Ÿ’–
